The Matrix Unplugged Mod is a Multiplayer Mod for Jedi Academy that takes the events from The Matrix Trilogy and puts it in a video game. We plan on having many of the main characters, weapons and locations seen in the movies, along with many powers that Neo, Agent Smith, and other characters have when they are plugged into the Matrix.
The Matrix Unplugged team admits that the ideas/names/locations that are used in this Modification are purely the work of The Wachowski Brothers and Warner Bros. Entertainment. This is just a way for us to make our own kind of fan art, except instead of a brush or a pencil, we use video game editing tools. We thank the Brothers for making such a captivating trilogy which has inspired this mod, among other forms of art.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will the Mod include Single Player levels?
A: No. We may include entity and NPC info for individuals to make their own SP levels, though.
Q: Which Characters will be in the Mod?
A: Pretty much any person who has held a gun, and is a recognizable character (ie: someone with an actual name, so no extras who got to shoot an electicity rifle), plus generic cops, vampires, and other miscellaneous enemies.
Q: What kind of Weapons will the Mod have?
A: Any weapon that you can pick out from the movie and recognize will probably be included in the final release. A few more will be there for some added effect and places that need more of a variety of weapons.
Q: When will the Mod be released?
A: You must first realize the truth... there is no answer to that question. Don't ask it :)
Q: Will I be able to download the player models as a seperate, smaller mod?
A: Yes, we plan to release a player model only pk3 upon release of the whole mod.
Q: Can I beta test this mod?
A: Due to past expereinces with giving people beta materials that only made the progess on the mod slower, we will not be having a public beta. Team members have diverse enough computers to test if it will work on higher and lower end PCs with many different kinds of hardware. We even have a few Mac users to make sure its compatible for those who use a Macintosh.
